The leading tutoring firm has observed a significant boom in enquiries since the start of 2016, and today announced 17 potential new tutoring placements, worldwide, heading into March. The private tutoring sector is booming.
Adam Caller, who founded Tutors International in 1999, today spoke of the busiest February on the company’s record: “In the last month I have visited with interested families in Frankfurt, Beijing, Bahamas, Italy, Switzerland and Florida, as well as closer to home in the UK. These will be exciting and rewarding placements for the right tutors, and range from subject-specific tutors to broad, holistic educators, full-time or as after-school support and enhancement.”
As well as a remarkable increase in online enquiries, many Tutors International clients are referred by domestic or administrative staff, or from friends who already use the service. The firm prides itself on matching tutors with families and takes an extremely thorough approach to recruitment to ensure each tutor is the perfect fit for the family’s individual needs.
Mr Caller added: “Our clients are happy to recommend us to their friends, neighbours or colleagues. Some families are reluctant to discuss their tutors with others, for fear of them being poached, but Tutors International doesn’t work that way. We know that one tutor wont necessarily be a good fit for another family, and our clients have the assurance that we work tirelessly to ensure a great match. Potential clients I’ve visited in the last month have included budding sports stars and families of sportspeople, so those tutors will need specific skills and interests in order to bring out the best from those students.”
Tutors International has placed tutors with families all over the world, in a variety of situations and circumstances, and provided rewarding and challenging new roles for educators, outside of a traditional classroom environment. Tutors and families also have access to ongoing advice and support, as well as bespoke private health screening and emergency care, wherever they are in the world.
