The Recruitment Process
1. Initial Consultation
Our process begins with an initial call, followed by an in-person meeting to explore your needs in detail. This meeting helps us understand your situation, educational priorities, and what success looks like for your child.
A Meeting Fee is charged for this stage, but should you decide to proceed, it is credited towards the Arrangement Fee.
2. Specification & Search
Once you confirm that you would like to engage our services, we charge an Arrangement Fee.
We then draft a detailed Specification describing the precise nature of the role, from academic goals and subject coverage to travel requirements and personality fit. Once approved by you, this Specification becomes the foundation of our search.
We advertise in respected international teacher press, on specialist job boards, and through our extensive professional network.
3. Screening & Interviews
Every application is reviewed personally. We verify references, conduct in-depth interviews, background checks, and assess each tutor's experience, ethos, and suitability for your family.
Only the top two or three tutors who most precisely match your Specification are presented for your consideration. The final decision always rests with you.
4. Placement & Fees
Tutor salaries vary depending on the complexity and location of the role, payable in monthly instalments.
Tutors International employs the tutor directly, handling all employer responsibilities and ensuring complete legal and administrative compliance throughout the placement.
5. Contract Management & Support
Our involvement doesn't end once your tutor begins. We provide ongoing oversight, regular reporting, and continued support for both client and tutor.
This ensures the tutor consistently meets educational objectives, and that your child's learning experience continues to evolve in line with their growth and development.
