Tutors International, leading provides of private tutors to UHNW families across the globe, is recruiting for a 3-month opportunity based in Costa Rica, starting in January 2016.
The successful candidate will work, alongside another travelling tutor, with three children, aged 12 to 17, with a variety of academic interests and requirements ranging from music to chemistry, to maintain their home curriculum over this period and prepare them for exams in their various key stages, including GCSE and A2.
Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, said of the position: “The candidate for this role will need to be upbeat, inspirational and have plenty of energy. Ideally they will be highly competent with Spanish, enjoy beach life and water sports, play musical instruments or sing, be creative and imaginative. Teaching in the inspirational environment of the coast of Costa Rica offers teachers unparalleled opportunities to illuminate the standard curriculum and enhance the learning experience for these children. Although the children’s school largely governs the content of the curriculum, the Tutor should use the local environment as a resource wherever possible.”
Tutors International take an extremely personal approach to recruitment of new tutors to ensure the best match for both tutors and students. This role promises to be both exciting and highly rewarding for the successful candidate, with the opportunity to explore the environment of rural Costa Rica.
Accommodation, a designated classroom area and car will be provided by the client in order to ensure the tutor has everything they need to accommodate the children’s diverse range of interests and subjects. The right tutor will need to be able to ‘think outside the box’ and vary their teaching methods and activities to ensure that all three children are kept active and interested.
