Tutors International, global provider of full-time private tutoring, announced that it is inviting applications for three Europe-based private tutoring positions.
Tutors International provides homeschool tuition for UHNW families around the world. Today they announced three separate vacancies for experienced, capable educators in major European cities.
In all the roles, applications are encouraged from professionally qualified teachers, but tutoring experience, breadth of knowledge, and natural communication skills are particularly important. As the roles are based in European cities, applicants must have full rights to employment and residency in a European country.
Adam Caller, who founded Tutors International in 1999, said of the vacancies:
“European placements are particularly attractive to British and American tutors, as culturally there isn’t a huge change. Families are usually keen to adopt the IB, UK or US educational curriculum, which will be familiar to most tutors, and then there’s the wonderful personal opportunity that living in a prominent European city provides. Each of these current roles is based in an exciting, vibrant city, and the successful candidate can expect to have plenty of time to immerse themselves in their environment.”
• Barcelona
This is a full-time tutoring placement to support a 12-year-old British boy in his studies, while he attends a prestigious tennis academy in Barcelona. A passion for tennis or football, science or literature, and musical ability is sought in the successful candidate, as well as fluent Spanish, a caring, firm disposition, and the ability to inspire the student with their enthusiasm for any given subject.
• Milan
This private tutoring role is for the provision of mainly after-school support for two children in a very private Italian family. The children, 10 and 14, require a tutor to help with homework, prepare for tests, and ensure their current outstanding achievements continue uninterrupted. A good knowledge of Spanish is required, and experience in the US and/or IB system would be helpful. The successful applicant will be discreet, youthful, and enthusiastic.
• Paris (with possible frequent travel to Lisbon)
A full-time private tutor is required to support and expand the school-based education of two children, 13 and 14, currently based in Paris. The successful candidate will be an erudite, professionally qualified teacher, who will be able to inspire, influence and encourage social and academic development. The ideal tutor will be bilingual French-English, and should be prepared for significant amounts of travel for the duration of the contract.
Unlike other tutor agencies, Tutors International does not have tutors ‘on their books’ but recruit for each post individually, from all areas.
Mr Caller advises past applicants to re-apply if they are a good match for a current role. You can apply for any of the Europe-based private tutoring jobs - or any other available vacancies - at www.tutorsinternational.net.
