It’s a busy month for the leading private tutoring firm, with multiple new international tutoring opportunities requiring exceptional full-time tutors with a passion for travel, sport and science, as well as teaching.
The latest vacancies, announced this month by the leading private tutoring firm, seek tutors for full-time placement with families based in the USA and Switzerland, with the opportunity for extensive travel.
The first vacancy is based in Switzerland vacancy, but will involve extensive international travel due to the nature of the father's work commitments as an entertainer. The tutor, who will ideally be Swiss-German, or with the knowledge to teach the full Swiss curriculum, will be working with two primary-aged girls who have been homeschooled from birth. Applications are also accepted from exceptional, RP English-speaking, tutors.
Tutors International founder, Adam Caller, said of the position: "The successful candidate for this role will be highly organised, flexible and able to adapt to last minute changes and travel plans. The girls are well-adapted to their lifestyle, but their parents feel that now is the time to entrust their education to an experienced professional who can keep them on an academic par with their peers. The tutor will be working alongside the girls' mother and other members of the household staff, to ensure that the children's needs are met, amid such a hectic schedule. This has the potential to be an extremely fun and rewarding role for the successful tutor."
The placement in Orlando, US, requires two quality tutors for three bright teenage boys with a love of science. technology, and literature, currently preparing for various GCSE and AS Level examinations. Mr Caller said, “This two-tutor team will be teaching three boys a combination of subjects at GCSE, A level, American SATs and College applications. This is a full-time role, and will involve extensive travel between the family homes in Portugal, Ireland and the USA, so is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys travel and utilising all their surrounding environment to enhance their teaching.”
Another US vacancy is with the family of a sporting professional, with two younger sons, based in Georgia, but involving frequent international travel. This vacancy would be best suited to an enthusiastic, fit and energetic tutor who can keep up with the family’s many sporting activities.
Adam caller commented: "This family are extremely active and very centred on sports. The boys take part in a wide variety of sporting activities including table tennis, baseball, golf and cycling. They are looking for a tutor who can combine project-based learning and activities alongside more traditional class-based lessons in order to accommodate the boys' own interests. The tutor should also, ideally, have a sound understanding of French or Spanish."
