Leading provider of full-time private tutors, Tutors International, has announced their search for two SEN tutors for a family in Buckinghamshire, UK.
Two new private tuition vacancies, based in Buckinghamshire, UK, will involve assisting a 13-year-old boy with a number of specific academic needs, including ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism Spectrum Disorder, in preparation for his GCSE studies.
The student has been attending a prestigious senior boys’ school, where he will remain until the end of the current academic year. However, due to struggles in maintaining full-time attendance and keeping pace with his peers, both school and family now feel that his range of needs would be better accommodated by one-to-one home support. Tutors International are initially seeking a part-time tutor for immediate start, eventually leading to a full-time homeschooling opportunity, starting in September 2016.
As a leading global provider of private tutors, Tutors International has extensive experience in placing tutors with families to accommodate a variety of SEN students. Formal training, experience and knowledge of SEN is of utmost importance for both roles.
Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, said of the vacancies: “The student is highly intelligent and will benefit enormously from one-to-one tuition from teachers with experience in SEN who are also able to support him in the full academic curriculum. As well as seeing him through his GCSEs, our ultimate goal for this student is to teach him essential study skills and techniques that will set him up for university.”
Tutors International have successfully placed tutors with families all over the world. Their collective experience enables them to match tutors with students, based on their individual academic needs and interests. The application and interview process for these – and other – roles is highly interpersonal at each stage to ensure the best fit for both tutor and student.
