Tutors International, global provider of full-time private tutoring, announced that they have never had so many concurrent private tutor vacancies advertised, highlighting the growth of the private tutoring industry.
Tutors International, who place full-time private tutors with families around the world on short- and long-term contracts, today reported their highest number of concurrent private tuition vacancies.
The tutoring jobs range from multi-tutor positions in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, US for a family with four children, to a private tutor required for an adult student in Geneva, Switzerland, who is looking to invest further in himself.
Adam Caller, who founded Tutors International in 1999, commented:
“This is our ninth consecutive year of growth, and accelerating year on year over the last 5 years, and we’ve never had so many private tutor vacancies advertised at one time on our website. It’s a clear indicator of the growth of the tutoring market and the value people place on a good education.”
Although Tutors International are specialists in full-time private tutoring for high-earning clients, there is a significant range of requirements among the vacancies. There is not a ‘one size fits all’ type of private tutor, according to Mr Caller, and Tutors International, unlike other tuition agencies, don’t have tutors ‘on their books’, but recruit for each new post individually.
Tutors are not recruited on their academic abilities alone, but on personality, hobbies and interests, as well as the circumstances of the post. Which is why one Zurich-based family are recruiting for three tutors – a short-term, long-term and Summer-only post – for after school support. In Jackson Hole, Wyoming, two American tutors are required to work alongside a British tutor in the home schooling of the family’s two boys to provide greater options for education further down the line. And a single tutor with broad capabilities is required to fill a post in Costa Rica, providing full time home schooling for four children.
Mr Caller said, “All of these positions are well paid, due to the exacting nature of each role. We ensure a perfect fit for the family and tutor, whether it’s a part-time after-school position for a couple of months, or someone to homeschool four children for many years, and clients will pay more to recruit someone ideally suited to the duration and requirements of that role. When it comes to children’s education, compromise and settling for second best just isn’t an option.“
