Tutors International, global provider of full-time private tutoring, announced that is has three vacancies for international private tutors for long-term placements, including Sri Lanka and Switzerland.
Tutors International, who provides homeschool tuition for families around the world, today announced three tutoring jobs for exceptional private tutors for long-term placements abroad.
Adam Caller, who founded Tutors International in 1999, commented:
“Our tutors are more in demand than ever before. We have several tutoring jobs advertised in the Times Educational Supplement and on our website, and are still looking for exceptional candidates to apply for these long-term placements.”
Unlike other tutor agencies, Tutors International does not have tutors ‘on their books’ but recruit for each post individually, from all areas.
Mr Caller advises past applicants to re-apply if a good match for current roles, and not to expect to be called. “We are not a recruitment agency, where you register once and then are called every time a suitable job comes up. All three long-term tutoring positions are due to start August-September 2014.
- Sri Lanka: A tutor is required for one boy, aged 10 for full-time after school support in a range of subjects.
- Europe: Full-time home schooling is required for a boy (6) and girl (8) in a broad range of subjects.
- Zurich, Switzerland: Full-time after school support in a broad range of subjects for one 11-year-old boy, with some additional support for younger siblings.
Mr Caller stresses that applicants must be experienced teachers, although the specific qualifications required vary from post to post. There is not a ‘one size fits all’ type of private tutor”, he says, and “Tutors are not recruited on their academic abilities alone, but on personality, hobbies and interests, as well as the circumstances of the post.”
