Tutors International are now seeking to recruit for new full-time roles that include the opportunity for extensive travel through Asia, Europe and Africa for the successful candidates.
Tutors International has announced it is recruiting for two professional private tutors required to work with two children, aged 13 and 9. The children are currently attending full-time school in Singapore, following the IB curriculum, but the family have a planned period of extended travel throughout the upcoming academic year and wish for the children to continue their education uninterrupted during that time.
Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, said of the students: “These are two very promising and bright students who will undoubtedly thrive under the supervision of an exceptional tutor. The girl, aged 13, is enthusiastic, academically focused, and a pleasure to teach, with a particular interest in the sciences. The boy, aged 9, requires a little more persuasion to engage in academic tasks, but responds well to an easy-going, gentle approach. He has a fascination with animals, which could also be used effectively to peak his interest."
These travelling tutor positions are to recruit educators who will work together with the students. This role will focus on the humanities, with the other being a science and mathematics specialist. Some overlap between tutors and subjects being delivered should be expected, therefore, both tutors will need to be broadly able and well-qualified to cover a variety of additional subjects, such as languages or music.
Mr Caller added: “This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the successful tutors. This placement will see the family travelling along the historic Silk Route through Asia before continuing on to Europe and potentially Africa, although plans are still being decided. This provides travelling tutors with endless opportunity to use these new destinations, cultures and environments to enhance the learning experience of the children, as well as providing a once in a lifetime travel opportunity.”
